Artbeat 2K21

After being silent for more than a year and a half the corridors of IBSB were again filled with the laughter of students and teachers. The college was beaming with happiness as it was time for the annual cultural fest of IBS Bangalore, “Artbeat 2k21”!!

“Artbeat 2k21” was a three-day extravaganza held on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of October 2021 organized by The Core Committee and was beautifully captured by Team Nexus.

 Day 1 events included Rangoli making competition, Poster making competition, Solo Singing competition, and Standup comedy competition. Students from both batches (2022 and 2023) participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Everyone gave their best but the first and second positions on the podium were secured by Sowmya and Anusri Govindarajan in the Rangoli competition, Pragya Singh, and Nishanth Patrudu in Poster making competition, Monisha Soni and Rhythma Sengupta in Solo Singing Competition, Abhinav Alok and Rohit Patel in Standup Comedy Competition.

Day 2 events were Mandala making competition, Face painting Competition, Solo dance competition, and Group Dance competition, and the first and second positions on the podium were secured by Neha Baitha and Nishanth Patrudu in Mandala making competition, Sumit Anand and Ansha Mariat in Face Painting Competition, Anusri and Neha Baitha in Solo Dance competition, Yash Goyal and Team from Section B came first and Gaurav Kulkarni and Team from Section C in the group dance competition.

Day 3 events were based on different themes which were assigned to each section from the junior batch (Batch of 2023) based on which the “Fashion show” was conducted. It was an amalgamation of cultures and was a delight to witness such diversity. Shradha Maheshwari and Team from Section F won the First Prize and Shreya Khandelwal, and Team from Section A won the Second Prize in the Fashion show. The best Class decoration competition was won by Abhilash Padinar and Team from Section B and the second prize was secured by Sakshi Sharma and Team from Section D.

The Overall Winner of ArtBeat 2k21 was Sakshi Sharma and Team from Section D. The three-day cultural fest thus came to a glorious end and, the students of IBSB have had the time of their lives!
